This movie is an absolute modern masterpiece of horror, scary and touching all at once. It hits in all the right places and manages to re-make a recent movie in an american setting without bastardizing it.
Even decades after all the Dracula movies Hammer prove that they still got it. Matt Reeves delivers a spectacular vampire adaptation, a true breath of fresh air in this era of sparkling 'defanged' teenagers-of-the-night.
