Review of Let Me In (2010) by Todd S — 12 Feb 2012
While it has been some time since I saw the Swedish adaptation of the novel "Let the Right One In" I still found Let Me In to hold up well in comparison.
Based on my -admittedly slightly hazy- recollections of the Swedish film, I found this American version of the story to be a little less haunting and a little more savage and brutal. This is neither good nor bad, simply an observation.
This is a solid film to watch whether you prefer to watch films without subtitles or just want to see the story in a somewhat different light.
