Review of Let It Ride (1989) by J K — 07 May 2010
Dreyfuss enjoyed some unprecedented success in the mid 1980s after Always. Why anyone thought he be a good comedic lead actor is flabbergasting to me. The man is a good dramatic actor who can play seriously disturbed characters well.
Not generic down-on-their luck losers. They should've saved this role for Nick Nolte or Martin Short.
