Review of Let It Be (1970) by Justin R — 27 Nov 2007
Depressing, surreal and brilliant....The Beatles on the verge of breaking up decide to go back to their roots and mend the wounds only to fracture the fabric of the band even more...and it's all caught on camera.
..Filmed during the month of January in 1969, "Let it Be" documents the brilliance that are the Beatles, but yet shows us that all good things must come to an end. That summer the Beatles would record their final album, "Abbey Road," and would leave the world wanting more! Thank you John, Paul, George and Ringo!
