Review of Let It Be (1970) by Michael R — 03 May 2013
My hands down favorite Beatles movie. A documentary filmed in Jan of 1969. It is the recording of Get Back Sessions which would eventually become the "Let It Be" Album. It is a insight of the band and the evolution of the songs the develop over the month from Twickenhem Studios to Abbey Road Studios.
The movie has had some criticism, but it is a very intitmate insight into the band. Also the movie at the end has the iconic rooftop concert, and wow do the Beatles really shine. For any Beatle fan or someone looking to see the making of a album will enjoy this movie!
