Review of Less Than Zero (1987) by Sergio M — 01 Sep 2010
I can't thank ms dundas enough. having hated american psycho (the book), i've always refused to read any other of his books or film adaptations. well, I was wrong. this film is amazing! I quite simply loved it, really enjoyable. it probably won't make me read the book, but that's ok. my highlight is of course all the otp 80ness, the parties, the fashion, the music: bangles, yes, but also slayer! danzig! hendrix! rhcp! poison covering kiss!!! hahaaa that was the best part; and the people at the rock club where rhcp where playing; and... and.. the party at the beginning!!! are there parties like that nowadays? I want tv-walls!! I want... A PINK XMAS TREE DECORATED WITH MINIATURE FUNCTIONING TV-SETS!!! I simple neeeeeed it!!
Oh, and the story is good, too! jami gertz's is by far the weakest, but all the rest are top notch performances.
