Review of Less Than Zero (1987) by Adam K — 26 Jul 2008
A depressing and draining look into the lives of upper class friends some time after graduation. the downward spiral taken by downey's character is not a feel good scenario. a great performance in his career.
it takes one moment in towards the end of the film for you to confirm that this film is a not one of hope for some of its characters. given its mood, its a well made film worth looking at, and a fair (if not fully faithful) adaptation of an excellent book.
