Review of Lesbian Vampire Killers (2009) by Dwain P — 03 Apr 2010
"Lesbian Vampire Killers," released as "Vampire Killers" in the US, is a silly English "horredy" about a nebbish who is actually the descendant of a great English baron, the sworn enemy of the lesbian vampire queen, Carmilla.
The plot--Jimmy, a Swedish virgin folklore specialist, Jimmy's randy friend Fletch and a slightly profane English vicar have to break the curse that turns an English hamlet's girls into lesbian vampires on their eighteenth birthdays and prevent Carmilla's resurrection--is the stuff of nonsense, as is the movie.
Nothing here is to be taken seriously. If you're in the mood for a wholly mindless British comedy, you'll enjoy this movie.
