What's Mark Kermode's comedy test? 5 involuntary proper laughs - chuckles, titters, snorts don't count, gotta be a guffaw at a minimum. This fell a couple short for me. And it's so self conscious of appearing like a teenage boy's fantasy, it's about as sexy as a perfume advert.
If they were going for an homage to Sam Raimi and Russ Mayer they got the wrong bits of each...
