Review of Lesbian Vampire Killers (2009) by Aswin W — 24 May 2009
Filled with promising ideas but let down by an absence of more explanations of the central theme of the curse and why the vampires are lesbians. All the female characters and most of the actresses who portray them are one-dimensional and wooden.
While Cordern plays a sub-par version of Smithy and Horne tries his best with the material. Although the highlight for me was Paul McGann's OTT sweary vicar. I think with a better script however the premise would've improved and let these boys have a better shot at a good film debut.
