Sumptuous sets and costumes and a film stealing appearance from Anne Hathaway did little to make up for the mainly dull songs and conversations sung at one another by Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman. Helenah Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen were hateful to watch, deliberately, yes, but also I fear inadvertantly.
Epic and long, but not my cup of tea.
