Review of Les Misérables (2012) by Levi T — 21 May 2014
True to its source material, this grand adaptation tells its tale through a series of solo performances proffered with great fervor by its talented cast, but with 160 minutes of little else, the emotive facial expressions all start to look the same by the second half, making the film easy to admire in retrospect, but hard to sit through in real-time.
