Les Miserables is finely directed and extremely well acted by Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe, Anne Hathaway and the rest of the supporting cast. The songs on the movie about the rebellion are top notch, but the film drags to an extend in the 2nd half and it could have easily been a 15 minutes short. The scenes between Jackman and Crowe are the best here.
