Review of Les Misérables (2012) by Kyle C — 29 Jul 2014
This musical interpretation of the hit Broadway show is considered to be one of the greatest musical movies of all time. I really enjoyed the performances by Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried and Helena Bonham Carter.
The songs are great and the story is great. But deep down when I looked really closely, this movie was all about hope and faith. Though it's a sung-through film, still has a great story-line and a passionate lesson about faith and hope.
A great (yet emotional) musical movie.
