Review of Les Misérables (1998) by Jagrut T — 26 Nov 2008
Les Miserables is an epic tale of Victor Hugo. The story is about hunted and the hunter and about love, honor and obsession.
Jean Valjean has been cought while stealing a loaf of bread and have sentenced to unjustice imprisonment. After getting out of prison, he meets a priest who encourages him to start a life totally in a new way. He becomes the mayor of the city but the destiny has the other plans for him. When a former prison guard recognises Valjean his past comes in his future and he starts to run in order to escape.
The movie shows the never ending fighting spirit with good plot and high density performance given by all the crew members.
