Review of Les Misérables (1998) by Red L — 24 Sep 2012
I didn't see the other versions, and I am ashamed to say that I didn't read the book, either so I cannot make a comparison, yet.
What I did see was two characters(Jean Valjean and Javert) played very well by Liam Neeson and Geoffrey Rush, in one movie with a very inspiring story.
You get to feel the emotions the characters feel in the movie. You feel their happiness, their sorrow. You are expecting things to happen during the movie and you don't get disappointed.Perhaps this is what the classic novel by Victor Hugo delivers, and I'm looking forward to find out.
