Review of Leprechaun: Origins (2014) by Luciano G — 27 Nov 2014
The idea process for this film is baffling, as I wonder if anyone even asked for a serious reboot of the Leprechaun series. There are parts to make fun of, be it horrible attempts at an Irish accent, numerous cases of stupid character actions and motivations, and the odd death scene.
But for the most part, this is a generic, forgettable, low budget horror flick. As for the Leprechaun himself, the filmmakers might have been better off acquiring the rights to the Troll series, as "that little bastard" looks more like one instead.
