Review of Leprechaun in the Hood (2000) by ? ?A?L?E?X?I?S ?? — 07 Jul 2008
Leprechaun...In The Hood?!! Need I say more. Much like the previous film, Leprechaun In Space, this is one of those films that when I first heard about it, I thought it was so absurd that I knew my life would not be complete without seeking it out at the local Blockbuster.
While most of it's just your run of the mill b-movie played against urban stereotypes, stay tuned for the last scene to witness one of the most frightening abominations in the annals of direct-to-video film history, in which the Leprechaun actually raps for two minutes straight.
That's Warwick Davis (who you'll remember as the lovable peck Willow) behind the green hat. Proving that God really does have a sense of humor, Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood would follow in 2003.
