Review of Leprechaun 4: In Space (1997) by Rasmus P — 21 Jul 2008
This move is horrible. The budget seems to be the lowest in the entire series and was made on a home video camera. The acting would put pron stars to shame, even Warwick Davis as the Leprechaun is at his worst. And on top of all that, half-way through the movie, the Leprechaun takes a backseat as the main bad guy when the evil scientist gets the spotlight and the Leprechaun all but dissipears from the movie until the very end.
Although, there are some good things. The Leprechaun's one-liners are pretty funny, and the scene where he pulls out a lightsaber to cut off somebody's legs was awesome, lol. Also, there's a scene that spoofs the chestburster scene from Alien that was pretty funny.
Overall though, this moviejust isn't worth the time it takes to watch it. It's TOO cheesy and TOO corny and TOO low budget for it to be very good, and the Leprechaun himself takes a major backseat half-way through the movie.
