In this sequel, the Leprechaun goes looking for a bride - the descendant of a girl he tried to make his bride 1000 years before. Now, it doesn't explain how he got out of the well from the first movie, or if he's even the same Leprechaun. The movie explains that all leprechauns are the same, so I'm thinking he's supposed to be a different one, although he's played by the same guy, he does look slightly different, so I've always assumed he was just supposed to be a different leprechaun.

I liked this one more then the first and it's probably my favorite in the series. The Leprechaun starts his famous rhyming in this movie, and he seems to be more dangerous and relentless. In the first movie, he attacked only those that got in his way. In this one, he attacks anyone he damn well chooses, just for entertainment, and he doesn't let something so silly as having to shine shoes, distract him from his goal. This one is also more bloody then the first, and we get to see far more of his cave lair then we did before. This movie was also played a bit more serious then the first one, although it still has some comedic moments, such as when they get the Leprechaun drunk in a bar on St. Patrick's day.

Any complaints? Well it was too short. It was shorter then the first movie, and I think it's the shortest in the entire series. The movie just flies right by and before you know it, it's over. Also, the actress that played the main female lead cannot act AT ALL. Words can't describe how horrible she was.

All in all though, this is probably my favorite entry in the series.
