Review of Leprechaun 2 (1994) by Nathan N — 27 Jan 2009
When it's entertaining, it's very entertaining. Davis makes this character what it is. The series would never have gotten past the first if it wasn't for his charisma. Beyond that, it's weird, occasionaly a little disturbing and so bizzare that you won't know what to do with your self.
But nothing good happens without Davis. Unlike the first, none of the characters are interesting or even engaging in the slightest. They are dull and you just won't care. The Leprechaun-less segments nearly kill the movie.
That said, if you watch it with the right group, you will have a pretty good time. But it does have to be the RIGHT group. So watch it with friends, be prepared for the most romantic kiss in screen history and remember, it's pure milk chocolate!
