Review of Leprechaun 2 (1994) by D M — 03 Dec 2013
Not a continuation from the first one, more of a reboot. A leprechaun wakes in modern times on his 2000th birthday, appropriately March 17. He has one goal, to find a woman and wife her up. When he spots a looker, he kidnaps her much to the chagrin of the woman's boyfriend.
Said boyfriend acquires a single gold coin of the leprechaun's, so the bride-to-be is left alone while her soon-to-be-hubby chases down the missing treasure. I liked this a bit better than the first, the sarcasticness of the leprechaun remained with the rest of the humor was less cutesy than the first.
SPOILER ALERT: Exploding leprechaun!
