Review of Leprechaun 2 (1994) by Chok S — 03 Sep 2014
A sequel to the goofy horror/comedy/fantasy film that's bloodier and funnier than the first. Warwick Davis reprised his role as Leprechaun and still as playfully harmful and dangerously charming as always.
We also see more GORY deaths this time around, all which are still as wickedly creative as the first film. However, the tone of this film is quite different from the first as it added more romance dimension to the story as well as more silly humors, lowering its SCARE factor down.
Overall with a twist change of tone, this is a funnier and even sillier sequel that still keeps its FUN and cheesy enjoyment well to live up to the first film standard [B].
