Review of Leprechaun (1993) by Nick P — 03 Sep 2014
This is one charming classic horror/comedy film! The GORES here is quite impressive and bloody enough for its period as well as the make-up effect giving a unique and SCARY look on the leprechaun. Warwick Davis did a great job portraying the gleefully silly, yet deadly leprechaun as well as the young and hot Jennifer Aniston and the rest of the cast as well.
The film does have some wicked humors but mostly silly ones as the film doesn't try to take itself too seriously which is good because come on, it's a leprechaun! You can see the terrible consequence when these kind of film try to take itself too seriously in the recent reboot one.
Overall, it's still a memorable classic FUN and charming little horror/comedy/fantasy film that well deserved its cult following. [B].
