Review of Leprechaun (1993) by Franklin F — 21 Sep 2009
Leprechaun is a guilty pleasure at best, and that's mostly just because of Warwick Davis, who is obviously having a blast playing the homocidal Leprechaun. Unfortunately, this is one of those films which was probably a lot more fun to make than it actually is to watch.
There's a weak supporting cast, aside from a young Jennifer Aniston who does a half-decent job, and the sets aren't overly interesting and lack variety. I would have liked to see a higher body-count as well, even though there are a few interesting kills.
I would never recommend it to anyone, but it's not the worst film I've ever seen.
