Review of Lepke (1975) by Brad W — 21 Sep 2008
Hey, I had to request to get this on here. How many others will I have to do that to? Anyway, in the wake of the Godfather there were tons of Mafia flicks starring everyone and his brother. This one is interesting because it has Tony Curtis and Milton Berle in it and because it was directed by Menahem Golan, who would later help form Cannon films.
This thing is almost a template for most of the product they would eventually produce.
