Review of Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man (2006) by Willi W — 08 Aug 2007
I'm Your Man is stylistically bombastic yet impotent. The viewer is subjected to a countless number of pointless flourishes and tortured through hollow and poorly cut interviews. The covers vary in quality, but the spirit of the music is bastardized by a few particularly wretched performances.
This "tribute" film only soils Cohen's legacy through misrepresentation.
