Review of Léon: The Professional (1994) by Samson D — 03 Dec 2011
The extended director's cut improves on the original cut vastly in my opinion, as it greatly expands the relationship between Natalie Portman and Jean Reno. This is probably my second favourite action film of all time (after Heat) because Luc Besson has exquisite cinematography and he shoots some absolutely fucking great action sequences, but he doesn't let this get in the way off the off-beat romance/comedy of Leon and the girl.
A great story that oozes style.
