Review of Léon: The Professional (1994) by Lisa Michelle A — 07 Mar 2012
Leon is one of the best films I have ever seen. The entire film is so so sad and I can't help but cry through it. I love that Leon takes in Mathilda after her parents die, it's so sweet of him. The ending is really sad and I just break down whenever I see it as it's such a sad ending, truly heartbreaking to watch, and could easily melt the most hard of hearts.
The best line to me:
Mathilda: "I don't wanna lose you, Leon.".
Leon: "You're not going to lose me. You've given me a taste for life. I wanna be happy. Sleep in a bed, have roots. And you'll never be alone again, Mathilda. Please, go now, baby, go. Calm down, go now, go.".
