Review of Léon: The Professional (1994) by Jared S — 10 Aug 2012
This is one of the greatest action movies ever made. The cast is great at selling this over the top material. Gary Oldman gives his finest performance ever. The story is beyond unconventional. This film just has a raw power that cannot be denied.
Ultimately it is the strength of Reno and Portman that gives this movie a heart. Their relationship feels real. Of course in only that way that movies can do.
