Review of Léon: The Professional (1994) by Kirby F — 28 Sep 2012
Possibly one of my favorite movies of all time. It features some of the best young acting I have ever seen in a move: the , at the time, child actress Natalie Portman. The relationship positioned between her and Jean Reno's character is awkward, emotional, hilarious, and very real.
The soundtrack is amazing, and the cinematography is absolutely stunning. Gary Oldman delivers a delightfully creepy, and memorable performance as the main antagonist, Stansfield. The plot is well thought out, the dialogue is great.
This movie is worth every second of your time and I suggest you go see it as soon as possible.
