Review of Léon: The Professional (1994) by Alejandra G — 17 Oct 2013
A mini-femme fatale mixed with an emotionally immature hit man result in a genuine love story in the middle of a mafia movie. One that doesn't fall under any category for sure, but remains in the naiveness and passion of first love.
I am amazed at the performance of Natalie Portman at such a young age and Gary Oldman was fantastic as well. It sort of seemed to me as if Heath Ledger's joker was some way inspired in that performance.
Anyway, I really enjoyed watching this movie.
