Review of Léon: The Professional (1994) by Nick Y — 28 Oct 2014
It would've been a classic if it wasn't tacky around the middle of the film (I also wished that it was darker & a pinch more grislier).
The already unlikely relationship between the hitman, Leon, & the 12yr old Mathilda (Portman) wasn't too believable at times. Nonetheless - I was never bored.
And I couldn't help but think of Lonely Island's track "Natalie's Rap" every time the 12yr old Natalie Portman dropped "fuck." (It wasn't a bad thing about the film).
I liked it.
