Review of Léon: The Professional (1994) by Vega F — 21 Sep 2012
Jean Reno is very good, but pretty frickin boring at times. Natalie Portman, on the other hand, is amazing. This was her break out role that got her discovered. There aren't but a handful of girls at that age that could have pulled off such a great performance.
Also... Gary Oldman was pure brilliance as the bad guy. I would peg this as his best role ever. Sort of a disappointing ending, but still a really good movie overall.
