Review of Léon: The Professional (1994) by Garry C — 11 May 2013
Masterful film by luc besson. gary oldmans manically insane performance as a corrupt d.e.a. officer is matched by jean reno's calm understated portrayal of leon the assasin. a frightfully young natalie portman plays a sexually charged role as a newly orphaned girl seeking revenge for the brutal slaying of her family, who becomes leons apprentice.
