Review of Lenny (1974) by Mohammed O — 27 Aug 2008
One of the best movies of the 1970s; hell, one of the best performances of Dustion Hoffman's career. Beautiful cinematography (should have won an Academy Award for Best Cinematography that year), this movies shows the rise and fall of Lenny Bruce, a troubled comic who spoke his mind and challenged obscenity laws.
The last shot of the movie will leave you speechless, shock, and sad.
