Review of Lemonade Mouth (2011) by Zeryna Z — 17 Jul 2012
It made nice use of certain cliches (e.g jocks, cliques) but had given a good reason for it--money and school funding. The main characters are strong, though certain romantic interests could have been handled better.
The problems the characters face are very genuine, but some are given more attention than others (e.g Wen's is dealt more than Olivia's and Olivia's is dealt with more than Charlie's).
Then, during the climax, the problems are dealt with in a hurry, which was a great flaw and deterred from the movie's quality overall. But the intro and ending are great.
