Review of Lemmy (2010) by Tony E — 13 Apr 2011
This doc is an entertaining, lovable tribute to the legendary Lemmy, including some awesome musical performances and killer stories by some of the many music legends who have spent time with him. The movie is clearly made by adoring fans so it's a little uncritical, though it does show his tiny, Hoarders-esque apartment which is clogged with, among other things, a ton of Nazi flags, weapons and uniforms (he denies being a Nazi and says at one point that if the Israeli Army had the coolest uniforms he'd collect them instead).
Ultimately Lemmy is a totally uncompromising figure and he seems as honest and straightforward as Motorhead's music. Highly recommended.
