Review of Lemming (2005) by Jezzy A — 03 Apr 2007
The opening act was leaning towards something of a domestic drama. And for some reason, I really would have prefered it that way. As a big twist is revealed, the movie went haywire as it tries to become somehow non-conventional.
The characters ended up becoming hatable and it really frustrated me to a point. I beg the question: why gain empathy towards characters who act this way? And besides, I'd rather not believe people like the older man is malevolenly evil (or maybe just a swinger).
Anyhow, definite traces if Hitchcock and old hollywood here. It's execution what somewhat American but it is indeed a French Film.
