Review of LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League (2015) by Ted J — 29 Mar 2015
How attached are Earthlings to a round moon?
Superman has had a backwards clone made of him by Lex Luthor that goes by Bizarro. Bizarro always tries to help Superman, but since help means destroy in Biazarro language, he always does more harm than good. Superman works with Bizarro to develop his own planet to protect and everything seems fine. One inauspicious day, some years later, Bizarro returns to Earth and creates his own Justice League. All havoc ensues as Superman and friends try to uncover the reason for Bizzaro's return.
"She is a god of war. Why is mine such a pussycat?".
Brandon Vietti, director of Superman/Doomsday, Batman: Under the Red Hood, and Scooby-Doo! Wrestlemania Mystery, delivers Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League. The storyline for this picture is interesting and very well done. The characters were entertaining and the action was awesome, but there was a little less charisma behind the characters compared to the Lego Movie.
"Vote for Lex!".
I am a huge DC Comics fan and had to grab this when I saw the previews. I was so excited about this film and purchased the blu ray. This movie was a bit uneven for me. I enjoyed the action scenes and thought the graphics were well done, but I felt the writing, specifically with the dialogue, was missing some flare. I did enjoy the plot and watching the picture unfold. I do recommend watching this with your kids but it may not be a must own like The Lego Movie.
"As least I can still fly, Wonderless Woman.".
