Review of Legion (2010) by Sonnia D — 27 Mar 2011

This movie got my curiosity big time. I read the gist and waited for it on cable TV. I enjoyed the soundtrack and the sound effects. Kudos to the sound engineers and sound editors. A scary movie won't be good without it.

I highly appreciated the Grandma scene. That was the awesome part, "f*ckin' c*nt," rare steak and all her big bite. I just think that the whole movie itself lacked a clear explanation as to why the diner was chosen as the place of Judgment Day, or why the waitress as the chosen mother.

.. so many questions unanswered. My guess is that the movie-makers were too afraid to offend some other religion or just playing it all safe. There were dragging moments but it was an okay film. Action was not bad either.

Paul Bettany did a good job. Overall, it was an entertaining movie to watch while sick at home.
