Review of Legion (2010) by Jiana W — 28 Mar 2011
Good idea, however weak on the execution. What I enjoyed about this film were the action scenes, and there was a lot of them to keep me entertained. What I did not like about this film was that it was more like slasher or horror movie in which the main characters are killed off one by one, through various means.
I felt because of that this hurt the story. Also the ending was a direct quote from the beginning of the movie, which tells me they did not know how to end this movie. There was not a lot of character development, it seemed like when it was about to happen it was cut short.
Also things in the plot did not make a whole lot of sense to me, so the angels are possessing everyone and killing anyone who can't be possessed. Also why not just send the angels down to kill the baby in the first place.
It seems to me like these were lazy angels. I will say however, I thought Dennis Quiad's acting was so much better than it was in G.I.Joe. Final thought is Legion was a good idea, with good actions scenes, but not a very good movie.
