Review of Legion (2010) by Vincent W — 27 Apr 2013
Legion will hit you with one big apocalyptic punch! The thrills are exhilarating and at times terrifying, the first encounter of Jeanette Miller's evil old lady with fangs is strange and amusing at the same time, then there's the elongated ice cream man and many more creepy images that are sure to make you gasp.
As well as spectacular effects and a bloody great cast performing superbly, Legion is shot really well too, you'd think in such an empty setting not much can be captured but director Scott Stewart squeezes in a lot of exciting moments into this small location.
After watching Legion I realised that Adrianne Palicki is a damn good actress and I want to see more of her. She is in the upcoming action movie G.I. Joe Retaliation so I'm looking forward to see her kick some more bad guys ass.
The only problem with the film is the wobbly ending that I think should've ended with more of a bang. Despite that Legion features wicked action, hellish creatures and a great cast all crammed into one small setting.
