Review of Legion (2010) by Sylvester K — 25 Nov 2012
Have you seen Feast? Well, this is a downgraded version of it. It's slow paced, uninteresting, predictable and has bad acting. Garrrrrgh, the high pitch noise was annoying as hell, and they used it for like 2 minutes. The introduction was horrible, we really do not need all the information about the characters, we can simply judge them by their costumes. The old lady was obviously a devil in disguise and yet the characters were stupid enough to let her have her way. The excessive swearing was extremely disappointed, this is a Biblical film for goodness sake, unless it's trying to show the monstrosity of humanity then otherwise it's not necessary. The plot was ridiculous, how can God abandon the human race? And Michael uses machine guns? Just stop it please. Adrianne Palicki was a huge disappointment, she only reads the lines.
The characters are stupid as hell, you have: A pregnant woman who smokes, thug black guy, cowardly boyfriend, skank, bitchy wife, pretentious husband, amputee cook, atheist owner and Archangel Michael.
Overall, the film is a disappointment in many ways, all there is worth to watch is Paul Bettany and his hot body.
