The filmmaker did an amazing job of presenting how the legend of Batman has inspired real people with real challenges to fight harder and overcome. This film is thorough and compassionate and mesmerizing in places.
I find myself thinking about Petaluma Batman and going to sleep some nights just thankful that these people exist in the world. Being a female with other interests as a kid, Batman never did much for me.
But seeing Batman's influence over the people in this film has done a great deal for me. So in that way, I'm now a Batfan, too. Find a way to see this film! It will change you and change your view of the world.
