Review of Legends of the Fall (1994) by Trudy B — 10 Dec 2009
A heart-wrenching melodrama set in the early 1900's, depicting the life of three brothers and the love of a woman. Full of adventure, and lots of sadness. This is a truely epic film and one of my favourites.
Not everybody's bag but if you're up for an emotional joyride, it's quite easy to lose yourself in a box of Kleenex. If you want some fast-paced hardcore action, go watch a Die Hard film instead, this is deeper stuff.
I'm an optimist and found the acting very real and sombre.
