Review of Legends of the Fall (1994) by Lee-Ann P — 16 Nov 2009
So if you've read any of my past reviews, you should know that I'm a HUGE Brad Pitt fan. So obviously I jumped at the chance to watch another movie with him in it. It didn't disappoint. There were great performances by both Anthony Hopkins and Brad Pitt.
The storyline was smart and unpredictable, which I found very refreshing because I absolutely hate being able to tell who's going to fall in love with who or who is going to be killed and stuff like that.
Another great part of this film was the scenery. It was incredible to see someone riding a horse through a beautiful field of green grass with huge mountains in the background. A breathtaking sight, to say the least.
Also, the soundtrack was incredible. It was a classical score that fit the movie perfectly and one that I found myself humming for the next couple of hours. This isn't a big deal or anything, but I found it hilarious that the kid from E.
T. was in this film, but thats not really relevant. Overall, this is a great movie with great acting and a great storyline (can I say "great" too much? I think not).
