Review of Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return (2014) by Kathy G — 19 May 2014

I have no idea why the critics trashed this movie. It's not the best kid's movie ever, but it certainly deserves much better than it got.

It is PERFECTLY paced for a 4-10 year old child. Its humor is not sarcastic or trendy, but rather more timeless. My 6 year old daughter, who is very sharp, stayed with this story the entire way through. In fact, she was mesmerized by it.

I thought it was smartly written. And the music and graphics were superb! And the icing on the cake was that the theme and message really make you feel good. I left the theater very happy after having watched it. And I went in expecting to hate it based on critic's reviews.

Take your kiddo to this movie! And see it in 3D. We didn't and I wish we had.
