Review of Legendary (2010) by Elisha A — 10 Sep 2010
To be completely honest, "Legendary" is the sort of movie that many of us normally want to dislike, but can't help to enjoy once watching. What will keep this film relevant is the courageous performance that John Cena puts forth.
Normally pro-wrestlers, athletes, tend to stick to action films (like Cena did with his first two films) but in this project, Cena flexes his muscle not only as a wrestling coach/mentor, but also as an actor.
Cena proves he can hold his own in the most dramatic and comedic scenes. Long term, this film puts John Cena on a very, very, short list of actors wit size, swagger, and talent.
