Review of Legend of the Lost (1957) by Emily S — 13 Mar 2008
While I don't agree with much that the synopsis states, it is true that the music is very sci-fi, but I enjoyed it. If I was wandering around the Sahara, I might start to hear a theremin too. This movie is less about it's plot and more about watching John Wayne and Sophie Loren sweat in the desert, but again, I enjoyed it.
I will agree that the cinematography was great. Love that Janet the mule and the revelation of the pious Brazzi's faith crisis about his father, but it happens too suddenly for me as does the love between Loren and Wayne.
